How you’ll learn
Training moves between the classroom, the wards and the community, so you build skills you can use in a wide range of health settings.
Classroom education
The theory and science behind nursing and midwifery practice.
Clinical rounds
Supervised practice on the wards of Tenwek Hospital, a teaching and referral hospital.
Community health practice
Practical learning in the communities around the college.
Entry requirements
To apply for the Diploma in Nursing you must meet all of these minimum requirements.
- KCSE mean grade C (plain) or its equivalent
- C (plain) in English or Kiswahili
- C (plain) in Biology or Biological Sciences
- C− (minus) in any one of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or Physical Sciences
