About the programme
Building on more than three decades of training nurses at Tenwek, the college now also trains clinical officers. Our aim is quality training delivered in a compassionate, Christ-like manner.
Years 1–3: training
An accredited course combining classroom learning with clinical rounds at Tenwek Hospital.
Year 4: internship
A mandatory one-year internship putting your clinical skills into practice.

Entry requirements
To apply for the Diploma in Clinical Medicine you must meet all of these minimum requirements.
- KCSE mean grade C (plain) or its equivalent
- C (plain) in English or Kiswahili
- C (plain) in Biology or Biological Sciences
- C− (minus) in Chemistry
- C− (minus) in any one of Mathematics, Physics or Physical Sciences
